A South Jersey woman is taking the the digital world by storm. From High School to the Army, a few dead end jobs after she honorably served our country. She clawed her way to a lucrative career and social media dominance. Not only is she conquering her profession along with her online status she is also building her political network as well. This woman walks tall with her head held high and does not back down from any challenge. She is as fierce as they come. You ask, who might this lady be? Her name is Jade Lopez and she is a force to be reckoned with.
in 2020 Ms. Lopez started True to The Culture Podcast. A very well put together cast that creates great content. The podcast touches on everyday life, what’s going on in the world and well about the culture, any culture that is. What struck me the most is that she throws an annual BBQ for her community. Bringing all types of people together for a good time and to network with whomever attends. It is a beautiful sight to see and she puts it all together.
Jade Lopez created a great opportunity for herself when she was hired to be a Legislative Assistant intern for United States House of Representatives Congressman Donald Norcross. Her experience while serving in the United Stated Army was exceptionally fitting for her to be able to handle such a position. We all know being an intern can be hectic and extremely difficult. She handled her tasks with grace and confidence. The way she executed that opportunity turned into an even bigger opportunity. Hard work, dedication and being intelligent is what put her in position to do everything and anything she has ever desired.
Taking the digital platforms and making them her office is exactly what she did. Being hired at a private non profit organization to be their Social Media and project manager. Being creative is what she thrives at. You have to be courageous and fearless to create something out of thin air. I know being in charge of social media accounts can be stressful. You have the creative freedom but also have to please the company’s vision as well. I know for a fact that the skills she learned in the military and that of just everyday life is what keeps her head on a swivel and always think 5 steps ahead.
The Private Non Profit tasked Jade with putting together an event for Spanish Heritage Month. I had the pleasure of attending her event. It was fun and exciting. She was able to get numerous businesses to vendor the event. From food trucks, live music, radio stations, influencers and also had the Mayor of Camden City and others members of the council come out. It was an exciting event and can’t wait to cover the next. I am certain with her being well prepared and organized is what helped her exceed her own expectations for the night.
