Botter Boy Nova is a Youtuber that showcases his sneaker reselling operations on Youtube. Oftentimes, highly coveted sneakers sell out within seconds due to bots and extremely high demand. Nova shows us how he manages to get his hands on these shoes that are seemingly impossible to buy for the ordinary shopper due to insanely fast sellout times. He then resells these limited sneakers for sometimes hundreds of dollars above the MSRP- all from the comfort of his home. He unveils how he does all of this in his web series on youtube called “Sneakers To Riches”.
Advice To Starters
To anyone that wants to start botting, my biggest piece of advice is to first join a paid reselling group (also commonly referred to as cook groups). A lot of people who decide to skip this expense in an attempt to save money actually end up spending more money than they have to. Access to information is key and that’s what cook groups provide such as a team that will help you learn your bot, tell you every single website where the sneakers are dropping, restock notifications, reselling advice, and staff members to help you every step of the way. Botting is a lot more difficult than it looks, so it’s important that you have a group that can provide you valuable information and help you whenever you need it.
How He Helps
Since my content is easy to understand despite the complex nature of botting, a lot of people who watch my videos who aren’t resellers end up giving it a try eventually- especially since it’s almost every week there are plentiful opportunities to make money on new sneaker releases. Many of these people, mainly the ones that take it seriously become successful themselves and are able to build lucrative sneaker businesses. For existing resellers, many of them watch my content because my experiences are relatable to them. However most importantly, my content is a source of entertainment for sneakerheads, entrepreneurs, and/or people who would like to know more about this industry.
The Brand
My main company, which is my personal brand, documents my experiences going for all of the limited and profitable sneaker releases, as well as some of my selling operations in the Sneakers To Riches web series. Additionally, I would also make it a point to inform people of the many risks and what to expect if this is something that they want to start doing. My other business, ‘Notify’ which I co-own as of late 2020, is a private reselling group that helps its members maximize their chances to succeed in botting and reselling. We provide information, tools, and resources to ensure that our members are well prepared and ready for all the sneaker releases.
Future Plans
In addition to continuing what I’m doing, I’m working on a couple of highly ambitious projects behind the scenes to make the process of getting into botting a lot easier than it currently is. As my influence expands, I would also like to help change the current public perception of resellers. The act of reselling and botting is always painted in a negative light by most mainstream media outlets, and hopefully, I can help change that in the future.
