Allante Steele was born and raised on the east side of Detroit, MI. Originally setting his sights on college Allante later spiked a profound interest in entrepreneurship. Allante’s first business was a cleaning service, but it didn’t stop there.Today Allante owns multiple business and by far is a jack of all trades; covering everything from modeling to management, Allante embodies the Detroit hustler mindset at its fullest. Allante also known as UncleTae is well respected in his community and knows what it takes to build a strong support system…UncleTae had this to say about his community:
“I just feel like there are important people in our communities that hold it down, but we truly need more. What’s that old saying ‘It takes a village’ we all have to be willing to work together to better our community. I work with my team day in & day out to build more sustainability around the things that we do on a daily basis.”

“East Side Story”
Uncle Tae is the creator of the brand “Uveelme” which originates from the popular Detroit term ‘you feel me’. With UncleTae adding his own twist to the word, it really does zone in on not only the culture of his community but also himself. UncleTae is also The Co-Founder and member of “The Whlgn’S,” which is a group of creatives that come together and thrive as businessmen and women. Alongside all of that, UncleTae remains humble and driven. He had this to say when asked about some major accomplishments he had thus far:
“Personally being able to experience life in different ways in different places & just learning more about myself, honestly the best has yet to come.”
As you can see, UncleTae is a very selfless person and is always aiming to improve himself and his community. UncleTae has also made it very clear how important it is to take care of the community and the new talent that emerges from within.To do that Uncle Tae & his peers within the whlgn has also created a mentoring youth program that helps shift their mindset to understand the sustainability around entrepreneurship called Leaders Amongst Leaders which they won a $50,000 grant for through The Skillman Foundation Detroit”. We have to say we applaud UncleTae for his many contributions to the community.
“Work Hard, Hustle Harder”
Being an Entrepreneur takes hard work and a lot of dedication which he displays daily. With UncleTae’s hands in so many different businesses we wanted to hear some key things Allante does to start his day:
“I always starting my day with a positive word, hydrate myself with water, stretch & proceed to send my positive words into the world of my support system & figure what’s on my agenda from most important to least important for the day.”
UncleTae provides a pretty solid ritual when it comes to attacking the day, one that can be easily followed.
UncleTae is an inspiration to many. Having to overcome adversity time and time again, UncleTae has equipped himself to give it his all in ensuring that he utilizes his best self for the best shot at success. If he fails he is also well equipped to brush himself off and keep going. Having this trait is almost critical when creating and running a successful company or brand.
