We are excited for this upcoming artist out of Miami, Florida to shine his light upon the rap game. We feel in his current state, he’s already inching up the ladder to independent success. He was born in South Florida which is known to tourists as paradis in most cases, but it definitely has some of the toughest neighborhoods in the country. James took those experiences of living on government assistance, section 8 housing and seeing some traumatic things in his life motivate him. Growing up, Hip-Hop and R&B were the primary genres he listened to with the preference of his older family members. If you listen to artists like Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Outkast, Common and others then James would be a familiar yet different experience. He loves to storytell, and showcase his skills through his lyrics and music. The rap game is growing very quickly with new artists every single day, so James figured it’s time for a revamp or a “shift” in music. His goal is to be in the forefront of the change.
Being a student of the game, it’s only right that he delivers quality material across multiple projects. He believes that weh you take your time with something, it increases the value of it. Rather than rushing song after song and putting out things nonstop, he’d much rather give timeless material in each quarter of the year. That mindset of way of thinking is referred to as “quality of quantity”. James has also been featured in multiple publications and interviewed on some of the biggest platforms in the world like “DJ Smallz Eyes”. We hope his music will take him to even further heights as he’s gearing up to release a project called “Element of Life” with Richy B soon. There will be a full self directed and edited documentary coming soon to support the project. Keep James on your radar, he will be a household name in the near future!
