The Nightmare
Most people never live their dream. Maxime Pierre, a 24-year-old network marketer from France, is currently achieving his second. Signed to a professional football club in his native country at only 15-years-old, Maxime was living his childhood dream. That dream was cut short when just six months into his career, a knee injury, reinjury, infection, and blood disease that resulted in numerous surgeries and even confined him to a wheelchair for a month, ended his career. “At that point, when you’re 17, it’s very hard psychologically,” Maxime recalls. “I went into depression and I had anxiety attacks. Psychologically and physically, nothing is right.”
A New Dream
With the dream he had chased since age 6 shattered, Maxime had to regroup and find a new way forward. “What made me want to be successful was the revenge I wanted to take on life,” he recalls. “I’ve had so many disappointments and failures. I really felt like I was disappointing my loved ones when my dream of becoming a professional footballer went out. I had such a rage in my stomach that I could only succeed, I had no choice. I thought of success from morning to evening, I dreamed of success.” That dream materialized when Maxine discovered network marketing in 2016. Just two years later, he had joined companies in Europe and the United States, and in less than a year, was earning five figures per month.
No Time to Rest
A five-figure monthly income was not enough to satisfy Maxime’s lost dream. “I went through positions one after another with the obsession of always wanting more,” he remembers. Soon, Maxime had expanded his global network to include more than 30,000 customers worldwide and earned more than $1 million in individual commission. I have made myself in the industry by my results. I was the youngest in the world in my company to have the results I had,” Maxime explains. But even now, he has no plans to stop. “I want to develop, grow, challenge myself, win new challenges while helping as many people as possible to change lives,” he says. As his business expands, Maxime trains his mind, body, and spirit to continue his evolution as both a person and an entrepreneur.
Maxime’s Method
From a promising adolescence to a teenage nightmare and now a massive success in his twenties, Maxime attributes his ability to overcome every obstacle along the way to his approach to the obstacles themselves. “Look at it from a different angle and see it as an opportunity,” he suggests. “When you look at it that way, then you attract good things. Now, it’s not enough just to believe in changing things. You have to believe and act.” It is in that action that Maxime believes is the true secret to success–but he’s not calling it a secret. “I’ve had to go through a lot to get there,” Maxime admits. “It’s not easy. It’s not going to be easy for [other entrepreneurs] either but it is worth it. I worked harder than everyone else and that’s what got me to this point. No secrets or shortcuts, just obstacles and work.”
