The Chicago native and self proclaimed “Queen of the Ghetto Gospel,” pours her heart and soul into every piece of her delivery. Inspired by the influence of old school greats like Marvin Gaye, The Isley Brothers and more, her music is already timeless. In 2017 her first streaming single “Wrong for This,” gave fans a taste of her hypnotic sound. Following up in 2018 with “Right Now,” and “EnVogue,” she quickly made a name for herself in music.

Following up with her alluring 2018 EP Overdue, Johni took the sound of rnb and soul and made it her own. Despite growing a massive fanbase in a short amount of time, it wasn’t until her 2021 EP Final Notice that she gained critical acclaim.
