The Journey Of Just Malsz 

At this time, he quickly noticed that he was restricting his influence on the world after pursuing numerous career paths, such as entering the military and teaching. Unfortunately none of those careers hit home for him and he decided to take his music seriously. His first professional single, “The Way I’m Movin'” came as his debut in June of 2019. Although he’s released music since MySpace days, this record opened the doors needed to continue to rise.  

It merely propelled him to hit new pinnacles after receiving such positive reviews. In January 2021, he kicked off the new year with more new music paired with visuals. In which, fans greatly appreciated and identified with. Keeping up the momentum, he began making a name for his brand by producing all of his video treatments and investing in himself. 

Who Is Just Malsz? 

His distinctive sound and inspiring lyrics are influenced by his childhood, his experiences in life, and his passion to innovate the culture in such positive ways. From hosting sold out pop up shops and shows, to packed out single release events and designing his own merchandise, Just Malsz is a unique tastemaker with a keen ear for good music.

With such versatility, Just Malsz doesn’t not limit himself by categorizing his musical catalog. Nonetheless, instead he focuses on the JM brand and what it means to express yourself creatively.

“Distance” feat Eljae

Fast forward, and he now releases his most recent record titled, “Distance” featuring Eljae. Some of his personal life experiences influenced this album. He begins to tell an intriguing tale with a soulful vibe as the beat drops. As he starts to express himself you can sense the passion within his flow. Throughout the single he talks about the pros and cons of distance. He briefly tells us the creative process behind this all: 

“The title of the song came from a place I’m sure we all know someway somehow. We’ve all been at a point of conflict with someone. The point that you’re physically together, but physical is where it ends. Writing songs in regards to topics such as these actually come a little easier for me, I’m a lover boy at heart lol. Or should I say “emotional”. This track was pulled from experiences I’ve had and trying to place those experiences in perspectives that both sides are understood. I want my listeners to relate which I know they will lol. I felt like the original song was very biased so I collaborated with an amazing artist and I’d say she did well in her portrayal of the opposing perspective.”

What’s Next? 

His goal for his ambitious career goals is to use his foundation to succeed as a catalyst for creators. Wanting to utilize his music as a voice of reason and motivation for all generations. Just Malsz wants to use the foundation he built to inspire other creatives to overcome their obstacles.

Most recently, Jazzi released her debut EP titled, 1 Of 1. After spending time perfecting her craft and sound Jazzi recorded 7 records on this tape. Each song is a different vibe with a different inspirational message. She briefly tells us about her creative process and the inspiration behind it all:

“I don’t really have a creative process. I’m an over-thinker so I usually get my concepts from random conversations and memories. I like my music to be as authentic as possible so a lot of the time it’s just jotted thoughts. I think certain songs bring out different moods. So I picked Trendz and Feels to be the songs with quick tempos and strong keys because that’s an uplifting mood. & then Unhappily Ever After and the Outro uses slow tempos and minor keys. I want them to be amused but relaxed. I want them to feel understood. My dad is still an active musician. He actually went to high school with DJ Kool Herc. Music was always a big thing in my household and it came naturally. My older siblings were growing up while hip hop was still a baby. So my older sister handed down essential rap albums, my dad gave me the classics and my twin brother taught me how to count bars. “

Pourya Partovizadeh was born in Tehran, Iran, where he made his ambitions well known from an early age. As a young man growing up in Iran, his dream of moving to Los Angeles and becoming a music industry mogul might have seemed like a fantasy. Fast forward to today, and he accomplished both those things and more. At only fifteen years old he started his first record label, Undermind Music. His eye for talent was immediately evident as he noticed the Persian rapper, Alborz, turning him into a bona fide regional star.

With a major boost in confidence, his early success motivated him to relocate to the United States. He was determined to make the most of the opportunity by beginning to make a name for himself as soon as he touched the U.S. land. In only four short years after arriving in the United States, he’s leaving such a distinct mark on the industry. He has already produced a number of hit singles, launched his own management company, and established a reputation as one of the most forward thinking minds in the industry. 

In 2016, hitting the ground running, during his emerging music career, Pourya began managing Nick Moleta. Along with the young Hip-Hop/R&B artist, P strengthens his roster by adding Persian artist, Arash Saretan as well. As both artists’ careers were on take off, Pourya went on to launch the innovative ‘SLATTBOYZ’ project. This project brought artists together to collaborate on the record without ever having to meet in person. The project garnered instant success and positive feedback. It was the first of many projects that earned him widespread attention and unique critical acclamation. Amongst its notable featured collabs, there was a track that took off. This record was made by Nick Miley and SkinnyFromThe9 that instantly racked up numbers within its first week of release.

Pourya recently announced what might be the biggest accomplishment of his career in regards to his management company, Wave Foundation Management. His management company is a compilation of some of today’s most innovative designers, advertisers, and artists. Wave Foundation continues to develop and expand but will be the end result of years of hard work and dedication. It’s the foundational structure that’s in place to continue to make major play moves for years to come. 

Continuously expanding his music catalog, he has long since proven his worth within this industry. An extensive list of hit records within a short period of time with his name attached to them has already caught the eyes of the movers and shakers of Hip Hop. Featuring a star studded list including Fetty Wap, Jordan Hollywood, Rohan and more. His collaborations showcase a variety of major players within music.

With the launch of her own crystal store, she became a paralegal and an entrepreneur. In addition to the popularity she found, she then honed her passion for music. Shortly after, Noelle began working with a producer which led her to being introduced to artist Astro. After meeting the two decided to collaborate and Noelle was asked to perform a hook. 

Originally, Noelle saw herself writing and singing reference tracks for other artists. That quickly changed as for aspiring artists, she started singing hooks and background vocals. Her passion for music grew and bled into her artistry creating a beautiful journey and legacy. 

She loved recording music but was faced with a decision after hearing her voice on several different platforms. Noelle felt it was more authentic to sing her music herself. As her experience developed and passion grew she continued educating herself about music. She then learned how to engineer her own music where she then was inspired and recorded her first EP, Earned It.
