Dave Hill Releases Latest Album Titled Much Appreciated

Detroit, MI had a wonderful 2020 as it pertains to its rap game, with artist such as Sada Baby and 42 Dugg leading the way the recognition the motor city has received has been trimerous. New Artist Dave hill looks to add to the fire with his latest project Much Appreciated and make his name the most recent to be known in Detroit’s music scene. Dave flows effortlessly throughout the 10-track project and loved the process of putting together an album. He had this to say about the whole process…

” My last project, Much Appreciated, was my favorite to create. I generally create
my projects alone but this one I let people hear before in pieces and really took my
time putting the pieces together. Each song has a profound meaning and
represents portions of my life. The subject matter is comprised of real-life events
so, I can listen to it with the same mind as looking through a photo album. Great
memories in music form”

As you can see Dave Hill puts his all into his music and it shows. With such a flawless flow and impeccable delivery Dave looks to set his self apart in the Detroit Rap Game. Stepping away from the traditional Detroit style Dave Hill finds his own way to deliver his lyrics almost as if he is painting a picture with his words.

Dave Hill possesses a grind that is definitely needed for success in the music industry, his grind and determination has translated into making some great connections and strides of success. Dave said this when asked about his biggest accomplishments in 2020.

“My biggest accomplishment to date would be my feature with Boldy James. It
was a wild turn of events to even get the feature, almost a miracle really, but we
made it happen and created a banger.”

To have such a major feature for a young artist shows just how hard Dave Hill has worked to get to this point and has no plans of slowing down. With the New Year here Dave looks to expand his sound and continue to put out music which he says should be releasing be very soon.

Independent Detroit Artist Eddy Mack Hits One Million Streams on Apple Music and Spotify

The city of Detroit has had an amazing year thus far when it comes to music. With artists such as 42 dugg and Sada Baby making the transition into mainstream music, Detroit has been showcasing some amazing talent. Popular artist Eddy Mack keeps the spotlight on the wonderful city and its music scene with his latest accomplishments… Eddy Mack recently surpassed one-million streams on both Spotify and Apple Music and was awarded two new plaques because of it! Eddy had this to say about the amazing experience

“It was emotional, especially because I made this album in the corner of a room by myself with just a laptop and mic.

This process has to be hard and challenging for Eddy Mack as it is for many independent artists, but he has found a way to surpass any and all expectations that were set for him and his career. Being such a driven and dedicated artist is amazing but Eddy Mack definitely knows how important his team is and how they have helped Eddy Succeed. He had this to say when asked about the people around him that have insipid Eddy the most:

“Definitely say my manager rock sayge. He found me in Detroit when I had nothing. But he believed in my music and plucked me out of Detroit into LA. Also, my good friend and producer Gflow. Also give a lot of thanks to my friend Fatboy SSE for how much he has looked out and the plans he has in the future.”

Eddy Mack has accomplished many great things so far in his amazing career. From being in the seat as songwriter to being in the seat as engineer, Eddy Mack has remained focused on his career. While recently surpassing one million streams, Eddy has a song with Fatboy SSE and Tohi soon to be released next month.

Maintaining focus can sometimes be challenging for many independent artists especially when fame and money start to come into play, we asked Eddy about his take on the topic and this is what he had to say…

“I never let the fame or glamour, or material things lead me. I let the music and the passion I have for it lead me. Everything else followed.”

Once again, we are highlighting someone hailing from the great city of Detroit, MI. Andrei Nichols comes from the Westside of Detroit which in itself explains why his hustle is always on 100. Andrei also known as Dre or Mr. Duffy is the CEO/Founder of The Duffy Enterprise which is a Branding Consultant firm. Acting as CEO, Dre provides companies and individuals with top of the line branding tips and results. Dre has always had a nitch when it came to entrepreneurship, his knowledge of the business world and want for more has only grown. Dre had this to say about his improvements…

“As I grew older, I used my ability to network and grow relationships which turned into
career opportunities and community engagement

Branding at its Finest

Dre launched his first brand (DuffySzn) back in 2017.

“This brand was created to establish value within the culture through business,
creativity, and education. I filter my ideas through this brand in order to collaborate with
community leaders, market creatives, and establish a platform for professionals to
network through a unique platform”

said Dre when asked about how the brand has benefited him and his business today.

Dre continues to make sure that he looks after his community while also trying to elevate it. In 2016, Dre founded the Suits for Successes which specializes in mentoring young men in grades 9-12 in the city of Detroit. The Suits for Success provides an enhanced learning environment for students specific in 4 areas: Academic Excellence, Professional Development, Financial Education and Social Engagement. We have to say that these areas should be focal points in any young man’s life so we applaud Dre for starting the “give back” process so young. Dre also takes it upon himself to always be the guy to give out encouraging words, which is how he also created “Good Morning Hustlers.” This first started as a morning inspirational text service but has now led into a collaborative platform for influencers and ones that are seeking to overall improve themselves.

“It’s a City Thing My Baby”

As previously mentioned, Dre is from Detroit and has a deep love for the city and how it’s changed and molded him into the hustler he is today. Dre had this to say about Detroit…

“Detroit, Michigan is the greatest city known to man. We are the cultural hub for the
best of Black culture. Our authentic ability to create and impact within all avenues has
givenus a national stamp of influence. The amount of talent within every sector is growing
and we possess the ability to be one of the most innovative cities within the country. I
am from W.McNichols, so I have watched the development of neighborhoods, parks,
and creative spaces come to life every day. Detroit is truly on the incline in terms of
development, and I know the future will be even brighter than before. There has been
an increase in collaboration which has made it easier for brands to reach larger
audiences and appeal to consumers from various backgrounds.”

Dre’s love for the city is shown in everything he does…while his company has clients in other states such as California and Maryland, Dre still has many clients from his hometown that he continues to work with.

Deep in his Duffy

Dre has accomplished some great things for him and his company, but one of his major accomplishments definitely has to be being a Black business owner which in today’s society is huge. Another accomplishment was Dre being able to host the 2019 Forbes 30 under 30, 30 days of service. While conducting that event, Dre was able to do one of the things he loves to do best which was connect with not only country leaders but also high school kids. Again Dre is always giving back, not only with knowledge but with hope for young kids growing up in inner cities.

Dre has made many leaps and bounds with many things under his brand; Dre embodies so many great qualities that create a good business man. His drive for not only success but also to educate is astonishing and remarkable. We asked Dre if he could leave some words for any young entrepreneur reading this article, he had this to say…

“This life is not meant for everyone. Going into business for yourself is creating a whole new life for yourself, and everything that you do will require endless work, research, and patience. Despite the hard work that comes with growing your business you will spend time winning, learning more about yourself, meeting great people, and manifesting the future that is meant for you. A Sit Down with Entrepreneur Power House Allante Steele

Allante Steele was born and raised on the east side of Detroit, MI. Originally setting his sights on college Allante later spiked a profound interest in entrepreneurship. Allante’s first business was a cleaning service, but it didn’t stop there.Today Allante owns multiple business and by far is a jack of all trades; covering everything from modeling to management, Allante embodies the Detroit hustler mindset at its fullest. Allante also known as UncleTae is well respected in his community and knows what it takes to build a strong support system…UncleTae had this to say about his community:

“I just feel like there are important people in our communities that hold it down, but we truly need more. What’s that old saying ‘It takes a village’ we all have to be willing to work together to better our community. I work with my team day in & day out to build more sustainability around the things that we do on a daily basis.”

With UncleTae being so mentally driven to help his community we wanted to outline some of his major accomplishments.

“East Side Story”

Uncle Tae is the creator of the brand “Uveelme” which originates from the popular Detroit term ‘you feel me’. With UncleTae adding his own twist to the word, it really does zone in on not only the culture of his community but also himself. UncleTae is also The Co-Founder and member of “The Whlgn’S,” which is a group of creatives that come together and thrive as businessmen and women. Alongside all of that, UncleTae remains humble and driven. He had this to say when asked about some major accomplishments he had thus far:

“Personally being able to experience life in different ways in different places & just learning more about myself, honestly the best has yet to come.”

As you can see, UncleTae is a very selfless person and is always aiming to improve himself and his community. UncleTae has also made it very clear how important it is to take care of the community and the new talent that emerges from within.To do that Uncle Tae & his peers within the whlgn has also created a mentoring youth program that helps shift their mindset to understand the sustainability around entrepreneurship called Leaders Amongst Leaders which they won a $50,000 grant for through The Skillman Foundation Detroit”. We have to say we applaud UncleTae for his many contributions to the community.

“Work Hard, Hustle Harder”

Being an Entrepreneur takes hard work and a lot of dedication which he displays daily. With UncleTae’s hands in so many different businesses we wanted to hear some key things Allante does to start his day:

“I always starting my day with a positive word, hydrate myself with water, stretch & proceed to send my positive words into the world of my support system & figure what’s on my agenda from most important to least important for the day.”

UncleTae provides a pretty solid ritual when it comes to attacking the day, one that can be easily followed.
