New York-based band SAVARRE presents their 2021 song, “Blood Under The Bridge,” released via XIII Records. Produced by Alex Venguer, Dylan Glatthorn, and lead vocalist Shannon Denise Evans, “Blood Under The Bridge” is a perfect listen for anyone who enjoys listening to rock music. In addition, anyone who is seeking new songs with lyrics that tell a descriptive story should also give it a listen, as they will also likely be satisfied with what they hear.

Running 5-minute long, “Blood Under The Bridge” begins with a haunting synth line, leading listeners to believe the topic of this song will be heavy. This is reinforced when adding in the repetition of a low-pitched drum in the background. Eventually, this transitions into an electric guitar solo, giving the song a more intense sound and upbeat tone. Roughly a minute into the song, listeners will hear the first lyrics, which involve SAVARRE fiercely declaring there’s “The fire in my soul I can’t put out.” This leads into the chorus, which memorably ends with Evans belting out, “So I won’t forget all the things you said and did/Cause it’s blood, blood, blood under the bridge.” Particularly with the latter line, Evans showcases her vast vocal range and allows the song itself to pull off the fierce sound that is suggested by the title.
