Nolan Johnson is among those people who achieve success without necessarily originating from a well-up family. From a small town in Michigan to Detroit, and later to Scottsdale, he has been in his entrepreneurial journey all through. Having realized earlier that even though education is essential, a degree wasn’t necessary for him to achieve success. Therefore, he developed the skills he needed to be great at sales, create, and run his successful company as he continued to ensure that his clients are happy and satisfied.

Establishing a dwelling brand in the industry

“I started off gaining sales experience and skills at Quicken Loans. I became a dominant salesperson and soon realized how that skill and talent could be applied to other things in my life.” Said Nolan. After doing a thorough research and mastering the world of social media marketing, he began his social media agency. He used his combined sales knowledge and marketing skills to make a name in that niche.

That made him different and efficient and set him apart from other social media agencies around him. He would continue to gain and retain clients through referrals from satisfied customers, making his company grow exponentially.

Major Obstacles in business

Like everyone in business, Nolan had his fair share of obstacles. “I had to put in a lot of hours outside of my “real job” to learn the skill and trade of sales, and also social media marketing” He was working a full time job still, so he had to find wags to make extra time to work on his sales and social media marketing skills in the meantime or on his own time. 

The next obstacle that he had to overcome was a social stigma that a degree equates to success. Eventually, his success speaks for itself and proves that you don’t have to have a degree to become a success. 

Overcoming the obstacles

He starts by saying that there is no magic trick for overcoming obstacles. “It is all about persistence, hard work, never accepting defeat, and staying on the move.”

He also advised other entrepreneurs that they will experience that, and to just keep pushing through it. 

Being different from the others

He highlighted and exalted integrity. Nolan said that the main thing that distinguishes him from competitors is integrity. “I deliver on what I say I will. If you buy something from me, that’s what you’re going to get, short and simple.” He said, in conclusion.
