As our readers will no doubt know by now, we enjoy talking with talented individuals, visionaries and creatives from all walks of the artistic sector. We take pleasure in encountering unique ideas and individuals and observing how they help these people succeed in their business.

But what we enjoy even more is seeing a talented, successful person who does not forget their roots and struggles coming up, and makes it their purpose to give back to the community.

Such is the case of Gabriel Galinsky, CEO of Forever Current Studios, and former member of world-acclaimed band The Twentys. With over ten years of experience on the music scene, Galinsky is modeling his recording studio as a sort of haven for artists today, with the unique advantage of being engineered from an artist’s perspective.

So already, as a music producer and songwriter (he still collaborates with his artists on the creative process on a regular basis), Galinsky is giving back to young, aspiring musicians, by lending them his knowledge and novel approach to making music. But that is not all.

For example, back in 2018, Forever Current Studios partnered up with technology giant Apple for an immersive program destined to give back to the community. The program featured several workshops and offered many resources to teach people photo and video editing, and help them hone their digital skills – so necessary in today’s world.

Forever Current also collaborated with Miami-based entertainment law firm, Chase Lawyers, and created a YouTube account with unique, dedicated content that helped prepare people on legal expectations and advice things that normally would cost $500/hour to learn.

Considering how preciously little aspiring artists know about the legal aspect of their business, we would say this is not only a necessary resource, but a very clever idea (since so many of us overlook this aspect of the entertainment industry).

Forever Current also hosted a free Songwriting Workshop in Boca Raton, FL, earlier this year, which offered tips and unique insight into the creative process. Even more importantly, they also followed that up with a songwriting contest, giving participants a free chance to have their music noticed, signed, recorded, produced, and mastered by an actual, professional studio and emerging indie label.

Most recently, they’ve started a podcast, called “Entertainment Biz Podcast with Andi G”, that Gabriel Galinsky produces (together with his wife, Andrea Galinsky, who is the host and co-producer).  The podcast aims to give aspiring artists access to unique content and tips and tricks from well-established pros in the music and entertainment industries.

Last but not least, Gabriel Galinsky is gearing up to launch his very first book, entitled “Getting Paid From Music”, an extensive guide to surviving and thriving in this industry, aimed at up-and-coming musicians (but also at well established artists looking for a boost), music producers, executives, songwriters, and everyone else who, as the title suggests, aspires to get paid from making music.

In other words, Gabriel Galinsky is obviously a man for whom things are going well, but he is also a charitable soul, one who looks to help others with his own successes.
