You once said that small businesses have the power to soar to great heights! But sometimes, it can be tough to keep that momentum going. Please elaborate on this. We would love to know your insight.
Dr. Karwanna D: Growing a successful business requires your ability to embrace the good, bad, and the ugly. You must have endurance. Everything is not always fun. It gets real. And when it comes down to it, you must be fully anchored in your purpose to finish the race.
Like anything else, there will be peaks and valleys in your business. Most people only want to experience the peaks and can get discouraged or may even give up during the valley experiences. But it’s those valley moments that actually determine how high your next peak will be. Those are the perfect moments to reflect, adjust, and strategize so that your next valley experience will be shorter and maybe even expected.
When you are all in with your business you have the complete and total power to determine where your business will take you. With strategic planning and intention, you can easily sour to great heights, but you have to have keen focus and the ability to execute seamlessly.
One thing I’ve learned in business is success can be predicted. When you set clear goals, and put in place measurable KPI’s to hit those goals, you get to determine how much success you will achieve. It’s like mapping in the GPS coordinates for success.
Every day you drop vital gems to your clients and followers such as expressing that certifications are the key! With the right qualifications, what can entrepreneurs obtain?
Dr. Karwanna D: Small business certifications give you leverage to access funding that has been specifically earmarked for certain socially and economically disadvantaged business groups such as women, minorities, veterans, LGBT, and other small business concerns.
That pool of funding is so significant that it enables every entrepreneur that’s ever been disenfranchised to increase their business revenues by 6, 7, or even 8 figures. But of course, getting results like this requires knowledge and strategies as well as the ability to execute a plan.
In my 5 Day Challenge, I help high-level entrepreneurs get prequalified for government contracts as well as learn the landscape of navigating the process with clear steps on exactly what they need to execute and to start winning some of those lucrative contracts that the government already has available for them.
You don’t have to have certifications to do business with the government, but having certifications makes it a lot easier to secure life-changing revenues that can take your business 10 fold at a minimum compared to what you’re currently doing without them.
And even in that, there’s a strategy to knowing how to leverage your certifications, what certs you should have and why.
There are hundreds of thousands and maybe even millions of entrepreneurs who have certifications that doesn’t get any results because they have no idea what to do with them or why they got them in the first place other than they heard someone talking about it or founds some partial information online.

Dr. Karwanna D: She’s Got Goals, LLC was birthed out of my passion to help other small business entrepreneurs start, grow and scale their businesses strategically. It ultimately evolved into helping high-level entrepreneurs or anyone with a business who truly wants to succeed, leverage their business to create generational wealth with government contracts.
Through this coaching and consulting business, I’ve been able to help over 400 small business entrepreneurs or more generate upwards of 5 million and growing, by adding the government as a client.
Dream Achiever University was launched to take business education to a higher level. Being a chancellor at this newly launched university founded by myself and my husband allows all of my training and coaching programs to be fully accredited. Not only does that add tremendous value to my clients, but it also separates me from all the other pop-up government contracting coaches out there.

Is the 5-day challenge you created still going on? If so, please tell us about it. Are there any more upcoming challenges you will be presenting to business owners?
Dr. Karwanna D: Currently, we are hosting our Get Pre-Qualified for Government Contracts 5-day challenge on a rolling monthly basis to help more entrepreneurs break into government contracts with purpose.
For me, I believe every entrepreneur has the potential to generate at minimum a million dollars a year and government contracting not only makes this something that’s highly achievable, but it also simplifies the process because of the number of lucrative contracts being awarded daily to everyday ordinary people. It’s life-changing. And I want to see more people who look like me position themselves to make more money working less and create generational wealth while changing their lives and the lives of those around them.
The 5-day challenge is for high-level entrepreneurs who are ready to take their 6-figure business to 7 or 8 figures and beyond. Even if you’ve not yet hit 6 figures in business this challenge will help you understand why as well as give you the tools and knowledge needed to remove the blocks and hurdles that’s keeping you from that success.
What is your ultimate goal for 2023?
Dr. Karwanna D: Ultimately, in 2023 my goal is to create 100 new millionaires before the year is out. And to partner with other high-level influencers whose work is creating a positive impact across the nation that’s also in alignment with our mission to help close the wealth gaps. Especially in black and brown communities.

Dr. Karwanna D: In my book Don’t Duck The Government, They’ve Got Your Money, it’s all about how you can make millions pitching and winning government contracts, I go into great detail about government contracts and how it can really help you grow and scale your small business significantly in a short period of time.
It’s important to get this book into the hands of more business owners, students, and even high schoolers so that they are aware that there’s a pool of money out there that has multiple trillions of dollars in it and the government is allocating that pool to women and minority business entrepreneurs. If your goal is to graduate from the middle class, having and business and doing business with the government is a great and proven pathway to helping you achieve that goal.
