Up-and-coming Canadian singer Liyah officially introduces herself to the world with “Always There,” an up-tempo track that shows off the young singer’s range, pen game, and ability to reach virtually any audience.
With lyrics like “sorta feels like you don’t even care, switching sides boy that sh*t ain’t fair”, the 17-year-old singer effortlessly conveys the pain she’s feeling as a result of a lover who makes her feel insignificant.
Despite only releasing one song, Liyah’s talent has been recognized by artists like Savannah Re and UK rapper Top5 thanks to her cover of the Christmas classic “Let It Snow.”
Be on the lookout for her music video that’s dropping 2/19.
