There is no dearth of talent in the music industry with many amazing artists entering the field and making a distinct mark for themselves with their unique style of music. Their go-getter attitude backed by loads of confidence makes them go places. We have one such talent amongst us who has made his presence felt through his exceptional work, he is Stefan Islas Ross, popular by his stage name ‘Lil Conscious’, who has struck the right chords with the audience and secured his place in a million hearts through his music.

Music was all he wanted to pursue since the very beginning. He was all in for rhythms and melodies, little did he know that this passion of his will turn into a profession in coming times. He forayed into the music world with a hidden identity and despite that he went on to create history breaking records and hitting chartbusters. In December 2013, at 17, Lil Conscious released his first mixtape, ‘Barley Conscious’, with a hidden identity, followed by his next in December 2014, by the name ‘Conscience’ and then the next year end, in 2015, he released his third mixtape ‘Phase 1’, which was the amalgamation of all freestyles. All was well until 2016, when he experienced mental health issues and took off from social media for a while. Nonetheless, he returned with a bang in 2018, reactivating his online presence and giving the audience his first hit after the long break named ‘Bojak’, which went on to create hysteria hitting over a million views in the first four months, which was awesome. One of the turning points in Lil Conscious’ career was when in October 2019, Canadian rapper Drake posted a video of himself dancing to the tunes of his hit song ‘Bojak’, which catapulted his popularity to much greater heights. Such was the impact that he signed a deal with OVO records, which was co-signed by Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, Trippieredd, Diplo, and many other artists, making him stand amongst the best known names in the music industry.

Today, in spite of his hidden identity, Lil Conscious enjoys a loyal fan following and popularity which many artists can only dream of.
