StandUp For Kids Chicago throws 4th Annual Fundraiser at The Wild Hare

StandUp For Kids Chicago throws 4th Annual fundraiser at The Wild Hare

Chicago is always giving back and supporting organizations who believe in reconstructing the community. StandUp For Kids Chicago is a well known organization that is both a  resource and a necessity for the community. Bringing awareness to the youth homelessness crisis throughout the Midwest, their 4th Annual Fundraiser was a success at Chicago’s Wild Hare reggae bar. The theme of “Purple Palooza,” covered the venue with special purple bracelets that glow.

Since the 1990’s this nationally recognized organization has changed the way the world views at risk youth. Providing a sense of safety, hope, belonging and continuous support. Resources like assistance with housing, mentorship, drop-in centers and outreach. Partnering with corporations like Kia Motors, StandUp For Kids Chicago has changed the lives of hundreds if not millions. Dedicated to not only informing but inspiring, this organization is a family to those who need it most.

Kicking off their annual celebration, this year was the fourth and if not most diverse fundraiser yet. Hosted by Wild Bill, the fundraiser featured a star studded line up of Chicago talent. With DJ MH2DA keeping the energy high, artist like Taco, Queen Ari, LVCHXLD, and AHMYO set the stage ablaze. In addition to outstanding performances, the phenomenal Kaotic Drumline left the crowd speechless. Chicago’s very own Determined Radio, helped orchestrate this memorable event as other Chicago media showed their support.

StandUp For Kids Chicago continues to be a face of hope for those who need it most. Their passion, drive, resilience and connection to the Windy City makes them a hometown hero of the generation. To donate, volunteer or learn more visit www.standupforkids.org today!
