Singer and songwriter Nayo Dez is the latest artist to put her culture’s influence on the forefront. Also of Haitian decent, Nayo Dez uses island flare throughout her music. Her sound is both intoxicating and soulful.

Nayo Dez is an artist unafraid to share her world with listener’s everywhere. With a larger than life personality, her vibrant energy radiates with every melody. Currently residing in San Antonio, TX but born and raised in New Jersey her platform continues to grow. Nayo grew up in a church household, developing the strength and range of her voice. Whenever she took the stage she blew audiences away with her natural talent.
Further pursing her passions she began traveling across the nation to perform in front of greats like Kirk Franklin and Yolanda Adams. Although she previously recorded music, it wasn’t until 2021 that her singles hit streaming services. The single 2.14 dropped, followed by the album 333 in 2022. The album included 6 masterful tracks, showing her variety and individuality as a music artist. The single Island Girl dropped early in 2022, a beautiful and exciting song dedicated to her Haitian heritage. Receiving praise for the single, she partnered with Austin, Tx seafood restaurant El Marisquero on a commercial using the song. Check out the video for the single below!

With the success of her single Island Girl continuing to expand, the video for the single further adds to the magic of Nayo Dez. Rocking a real mermaid tail with colors of green and blue, Nayo is splashing around full of vibrancy throughout the video. She also had the chance to go on tour earlier this summer, performing in states like California, Washington and Arizona.
Nayo Dez gave a captivating tiny desk performance for the single Stay right underneath the Hollywood sign. She also blew folks away performing in the Grand Canyon National Park while in Arizona. An expert at stage presence and crowd engagement, Nayo Dez gives a thousand percent when performing. Known to sing to audience members during her set, she captivates anyone who’s in the room.
Furthermore, sharing her music with the world, she continues to sell out shows. October 8th, she is co-headlining the show Bosses & Bossets: Black and Gold Music Fest in her home of San, Antonio Tx in addition to dropping new music at the show.
