As of late, Doley Bernays, also known as Young Roemello, is making a lot of noise within the music scene. Although everyone around believes otherwise, Doley sees himself at a standstill when it comes to his latest project, The Lobby Tape (Side A). On the one hand, his goal of gaining generational prosperity is nearly attained. While on the other hand, until this point, he can’t seem to avoid the trauma he has stifled. Now he’s here with his most recent release, “Sugar Hill” paired with a fire visual!
Raised in the Bronx, to reach the top you’ve got to go through some serious sh*t. From personal experiences, Doley paints a picture of his life in New York on his hot new project. In doing so, he highlights all of the obstacles and hardships he had to overcome.
Fresh off the full-length release, “Sugar Hill” appears to be the standout single. Now, Doley came through with the premiere of his brand new music video. From the jump, we see him transform into a member of the Skuggs family.
Doley speaks on the new video saying, “Sugar Hill” takes place uptown in the Bronx in my hood.” He goes on to tell HNHH, “It’s the continuation of ‘Lobby’ as it takes place the morning after and takes us out the lobby to the basketball courts where we ball for real, figuratively and literally. The song is inspired by the classic 90’s movie Sugar Hill.”
The hot new cinematic visual for the single for “Sugar Hill” really captures the feel and aesthetic of the 90s film. The music video will have you locked in over and over again. Don’t believe me? See for yourself below here on Digital Buzz Now!
