Who is your business role model? Why?

Arrica: I would say OPRAH, she seems grounded and has a plan and of course the proof is in the pudding. Outside of her, I would say I have two girlfriends who own successful restaurants and I lean on them for support and advice too.

Why did you choose seafood specifically when launching a food business?

Arrica: I love it! Seafood is my first go to.

What’s your favorite type of seafood?

Arrica: The Maryland Blue Crab

What’s your best selling menu item?

Arrica: At the moment, our crab dip is a winner.

More on Arrica Lindsay Ashe:

One of the qualities that has helped Arrica sustain her success was being able to adapt and pivot to changes out of her control. Due to the pandemic, her event planning company suffered some challenges and being as though the world was unable to do in-person events.

She decided to open a food truck and from that she opened the doors to The Crazy Crab Bag, a quaint seafood restaurant located in Baltimore Federal Hill neighborhood. Serving delicious seafood and vibes…everything is made from scratch with love from Arrica herself, yes she cooks.

Arrica prides herself on being a true girl boss in a male dominated industry. It’s her goal to create businesses that help bring value to the community and to show woman of all ages that you can do anything with faith and work!
