Briana’s Road to Achievements in the Casting Industry
With her outstanding contributions to casting in the film and television industries, Briana became a member of the Casting Society of America. Briana’s launchpad to a career in casting began in Miami at Lori Wyman Casting in 2012. After working on projects like Pain & Gain and “Burn Notice,” Briana decided to move to Los Angeles to further improve her craft and impact. She was quickly appointed the pioneer studio manager at Hollywood Casting Film Studios. Through her collaboration with co-founder and producer Sunny Vachher, the company won the Best of the Coupon Business Award in Los Angeles in its first year of operation.
Nearly a decade later, she has subsequently worked on more than 60 independent and studio feature films, with another 120+ credits in digital content such as variety shows, docuseries, episodic series, shorts, and music videos. Some of her recognizable credits include Omaze, the indie darling Alaska (Blacklist, Cannes), Academy Award-qualifying “Savior”, HBO Max’s “Independent” docu-series, Tyger Tyger (Dylan Sprouse), and Destry Allyn Spielberg’s directorial debut “Rosie”. Briana’s Achievements In Film Production
While producing low-budget music videos and digital content for DreamworksTV, Briana’s producing prowess awarded her the opportunity to line produce her second pilot, co-written by and starring Tony-award-winning Marissa Jaret Winokur. Directed by one of Briana’s early mentors, actor-producer-activist Wilmer Valderrama, this particular pilot improved Briana’s understanding of script development, television production, and project sales.
Briana now produces music videos for accomplished K-Pop acts and independent artists. She continues to collaborate with major companies from South Korea such as Zany Bros. and CJ Entertainment. Her collective has also produced dozens of digital pieces and commercials for notable clients like GQ Japan, Couponstroller, Puma, Warner Media, TMillyTV, Aputure, Couponswine and Keone and Mari Madrid. One of her experimental shorts, “Savior”, was awarded the Bruce Corwin Award, making it eligible for an Academy Award nomination.
